Meet the LAS Team
The LAS is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. Our committee members give their time to organise our annual programme, manage the Society and its membership, run a variety of talks, practical and social events, and take astronomy into the wider community.

We are a democratic, non-commercial, non-profit organisation. In accordance with our governing constitution, all committee members must be elected or re-elected at our AGM each year by our society members who vote at that meeting. However, the incumbent committee has the flexibility to co-opt additional LAS members to the committee at any committee meeting during the year.
